Constructed from durable metal, it provides a clean, professional solution for organizing AV, data, audio, video, USB, and power connections in conference rooms, classrooms, control rooms, and commercial AV installations. The AAP 301 features four module openings, accommodating up to eight single-space or four double-space AAP modules, allowing users to create custom pass-through connectivity panels. About the Extron AAP 301 PowerPlates

The Extron AAP 301 paired with USB PowerPlate 300 Series modules provides a clean, modular solution for integrating AC power and high-speed USB device charging directly into standard 19-inch AV and IT racks. The AAP 301 is a 1U rack-mountable panel engineered to hold up to eight single-space Architectural Adapter Plates (AAPs) or a combination of multi-space modules. When populated with Extron's USB PowerPlate modules (such as the USB PowerPlate 311 AAP or 311 AC AAP), it converts open rack space into a centralized charging hub for laptops, mobile devices, and AV accessories.

The USB PowerPlate modules deliver heavy-duty power output, featuring a USB-C port capable of providing up to 45W via USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) alongside a standard USB-A port offering up to 10W. Variants equipped with an AC outlet also include a standard unswitched Edison receptacle for powering auxiliary rack gear or local laptops. Powered by an included external Extron Everlast 12V DC power supply, the system maintains high energy efficiency and extremely low thermal output, making it safe to operate in dense, enclosed racks.
