About the (2) Loweli-Light I-01 Complete Focus Flood Lights

The Lowel i-light (often sold as the I-01 Complete Set) is a rugged, highly versatile tungsten-halogen lighting fixture designed for battery-powered, on-camera use. A staple in electronic news gathering (ENG), event videography, and documentary filmmaking before the LED era, the i-light provides essential key, fill, or eye-light without overpowering the available ambient light. Because it relies on standard 12/14V automobile halogen bulbs (typically 55W or 100W), replacement lamps are inexpensive and easily sourced in the field.

Unlike basic, fixed-beam camera lights, the i-light features an internal high-intensity #2 reflector combined with prismatic front safety glass, providing a beautifully even flood or a uniform, tight spot. The beam can be smoothly adjusted via a rear focusing knob, offering an impressive 5:1 focus range (when using a 100W lamp). The I-01 Complete Set specifically refers to the kit configuration that includes the light head with a captive 4-foot cable terminating in a standard 12V cigarette lighter plug, along with a comprehensive suite of "ViP" mounting links to adapt the light to hot shoes, 1/4"-20 threads, or standard light stands.
