5' Hosa XLR3F to XLRM Pro Microphone Cables

The Hosa HMIC-005 is a professional balanced microphone cable designed around the conventional three-pin XLR connection used extensively throughout professional audio systems. Each cable has a female XLR3 connector and a male XLR3 connector, making it suitable for connecting microphones and other XLR-equipped audio sources to microphone inputs on mixing consoles, preamplifiers, stage boxes, and related equipment. Hosa specifically positions the Pro Microphone Cable series for professional audio applications, including touring and live sound.

Signal transmission is handled through two 20 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper conductors. The conductors are paired with a 90% OFC braided shield designed to provide effective EMI and RFI rejection. The braided shield also contributes to the cable's flexibility, which is useful when cables are repeatedly routed, coiled, and repositioned in production environments.

Both connectors are REAN components with silver-plated contacts. Hosa specifies these connectors for signal transfer and durability, while the XLR construction provides the locking connection commonly required for professional microphone and balanced-line equipment.
