Description

The AJA HD10AMA is a versatile dual-rate audio processor designed for professional video environments requiring flexible analog audio integration with SDI infrastructure. This compact mini-converter accepts HD or SD-SDI video input and provides comprehensive four-channel balanced analog audio embedding and disembedding capabilities. The included XLR breakout cable connects directly to the unit, offering convenient access to four channels of analog audio input and output for seamless integration with audio consoles, wireless receivers, or professional audio equipment.

Operation is fully user-configurable, allowing independent selection of embedding on a channel pair basis. Analog audio can be embedded into the SDI stream while existing input audio is passed through, or the unit can function purely as a disembedder with the four analog outputs continuously active for monitoring or routing to external systems. Adjustable audio levels accommodate both professional and consumer equipment requirements, while automatic detection of incoming HD or SD video standards ensures hassle-free installation. The rugged metal enclosure and included power supply make the HD10AMA ideal for broadcast trucks, production studios, and live event applications where reliable audio/video synchronization is critical.
