The C2000B offers a wide frequency range of 30 Hz to 20 kHz and an almost ruler-flat frequency response in the mid-range with a presence boost in the high frequencies, giving it a clear, "up-front" sound. For added versatility, it includes switchable features: a -10 dB pre-attenuation pad for distortion-free recording of loud sources like drums or horns (handling up to 150 dB SPL) and a bass cut filter (6 dB/octave below 500 Hz) to eliminate proximity effect and low-frequency rumble. It operates on 9 to 52 V phantom power and connects via a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector.
