The AMX NI-2100 NetLinx Integrated Controller is an advanced automation processor designed to seamlessly manage audio, video, lighting, and environmental systems in medium-sized rooms or multi-room applications. Serving as the central hub of an integrated AV environment, the NI-2100 utilizes the robust NetLinx platform to communicate with a vast array of smart home components, home theater gear, and professional boardroom electronics. Driven by a 404 MIPS processor, the unit comes equipped with 64MB of RAM and 512MB of CompactFlash memory, providing the necessary processing power to reliably execute complex control scripts and multi-device macros.

Designed with high integration flexibility, this sleek 2-rack-unit controller provides a comprehensive suite of physical control interfaces to interact with both legacy and modern equipment. The back panel features three configurable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, four relays, four IR/Serial ports, and four Digital I/O channels. Beyond direct physical connections, the NI-2100 communicates via standard Ethernet (TCP/IP) and AMX's proprietary AxLink network. It also supports AMX Device Discovery, which significantly streamlines system setup and programming by standardizing device definitions, touch panel button assignments, and feedback methods across the control network.
