Description

The Sony Adapter Plate from ARRI is specifically designed to work with PMW-F5/F55 HD cameras. The bottom of the plate takes the form of a Sachtler Touch and Go plate for quick and easy mounting to a head. This plate will support a pair of lightweight 15mm rods (not included), enabling you to flesh out your camera rig with rod-mounted accessories. Rosettes on both the right and left sides of the Sony Adapter Plate provide points for attaching a handgrip or other accessory. Anti-twist pins prevent the plate from slipping askew when attached to the bottom of the camera. Read more

About the ARRI Adapter Plate for Sony F5/F55

The ARRI Adapter Plate (Part Number K2.66246.0) is a dedicated support base engineered for the Sony PMW-F5 and PMW-F55 cinema cameras. It features an integrated Sachtler Touch & Go plate on the bottom, enabling rapid mounting and dismounting from compatible fluid heads. For heavier setups, the plate is designed to fit directly onto ARRI studio bridge plates, including the 19mm BP-8 and 15mm BP-9.

The plate utilizes dual 15mm Lightweight Support (LWS) rod ports with a single locking mechanism to mount accessories like follow focuses, lens motors, and matte boxes. Anti-twist pins lock the camera body securely to prevent lateral skewing during operation, while ARRI standard rosettes on the left and right sides provide robust mounting points for handgrips and extension arms.
