ARRI K2.66246.0 Adapter Plate for Sony F5/F55

The ARRI K2.66246.0 Adapter Plate is a specialized camera baseplate specifically engineered for Sony's PMW-F5 and F55 CineAlta HD cameras. It is precision-machined to mount securely to the bottom of the camera body, immediately bridging the gap between the proprietary Sony footprint and industry-standard lightweight support configurations. By attaching this plate, cinematographers can easily expand their basic camera setup into a fully functioning professional rig capable of handling heavier cinema lenses, motors, and standard operational accessories.

A defining characteristic of this plate is its integrated Sachtler Touch and Go profile on the bottom, which allows for instant, secure mounting to compatible fluid heads without the hassle of screwing on intermediate quick-release plates. The front of the adapter supports a pair of 15mm LWS rods spaced 60mm apart, providing the necessary mounting points for matte boxes and wireless follow focus systems. Furthermore, ARRI thoughtfully integrated anti-twist pins to prevent the camera from slipping askew during dynamic movements, alongside standard ARRI rosettes on both sides for quick handgrip attachment.
