The ART Pro Audio SyncGen is a compact, dedicated word clock generator designed to provide a highly stable, centralized digital timing reference for recording studios. When daisy-chaining multiple digital audio devices—such as audio interfaces, standalone AD/DA converters, and digital mixers.

Slight timing discrepancies between their internal clocks can introduce audible jitter, clicks, and dropouts into a recording. By stripping timing duties away from individual components and slaving them all to the SyncGen's precision internal oscillator, audio engineers can ensure perfect, sample-accurate synchronization across their entire digital signal chain.
