Description
The NE4400MS provides a powerful and comprehensive audio processing solution for complex routing needs. The core of the unit is a 32-bit floating-point SHARC DSP engine that provides an extensive suite of processing functions, all controllable remotely via Ethernet or RS-232 using the Protea NE Software. The "MS" in the model name indicates the pre-installed 4-channel mic input card with switchable phantom power and the 4-channel AES3 digital output card. These cards occupy three of the four expansion bays, leaving one bay available for further customization, such as a Dante or CobraNet card. The unit's standard analog inputs and outputs are via Euroblock connectors.
