The Ashly NE8250.70 is a network-enabled, 8-channel power amplifier designed specifically for 70V constant voltage distributed audio systems. Housed in a durable 2RU chassis, this Class-D amplifier delivers 250W per channel using an energy-efficient switching power supply. It is remotely controllable via standard Ethernet using Ashly's Protea NE software, allowing for monitoring and adjustments in networked audio environments. Key features for constant voltage applications include a selectable high-pass filter to manage low frequencies, and stepped, calibrated input attenuators for consistent level setting. The amplifier uses Euroblock connectors for all analog inputs and outputs, ensuring straightforward integration, and its modular design allows for optional expansion with cards for network audio (like Dante™) or Protea DSP.
