Description

The nXe Series NXE8002 2-Channel 800W Power Amplifier with Programmable Outputs & Ethernet Control from Ashly is a Class-D switching amplifier combined with a switch mode power supply. This amplifier meets the requirements of demanding live sound and fixed installation sound systems in stadiums, arenas, performance venues, worship spaces, and convention centers. The rear panel has DIP switches for programming each channel output for either High-Z or Low-Z operation. This amplifier can be connected to a network with Ethernet control and features serial data control, aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, fault condition logic outputs, and optional network audio and digital audio capability, all controlled using the Protea Software Suite (not included). The Ashly nXe8002 is a professional 2-channel network-enabled power amplifier engineered for high-performance installed sound applications requiring reliable power delivery, advanced DSP processing, and comprehensive Ethernet-based system control. As part of the Ashly nXe Series, the amplifier integrates Class-D amplification with onboard Protea™ digital signal processing, making it an ideal solution for houses of worship, theaters, educational facilities, hospitality venues, corporate AV systems, and distributed commercial audio installations. Delivering 800 watts per channel at 2 ohms, the nXe8002 offers flexible power configurations to accommodate low-impedance loudspeaker systems as well as bridged applications. Integrated Protea DSP provides advanced loudspeaker management functions including parametric equalization, crossover filters, delay, limiting, signal routing, and output protection.
