The ne24.24M series is built around a standard 4x4 base unit which is expanded with field-installable 4-channel input and output modules. The 8x12 Logic configuration is created by adding one 4-channel input card, two 4-channel output cards, and a General Purpose Output (GPO) Logic card to the base unit's expansion slots. The logic card provides programmable logic outputs to control external devices like relays, projection screens, or lighting based on predefined logic. All configuration and control are done via a PC using Ashly's Protea NE Software over an Ethernet or RS-232 connection. The unit's tamper-proof design, lacking front-panel controls, and multi-level software security ensure that settings remain secure after installation. The comprehensive built-in DSP includes a full suite of functions for each channel, such as equalization, delay, gates, and auto-levelers.
