The ne24.24M 8x8 Logic combines a configurable 4x4 base unit with expansion cards. The 8x8 audio configuration is achieved by adding one 4-channel input card and one 4-channel output card to the base unit's expansion slots. The logic card, which occupies an expansion slot, adds the functionality to trigger external devices like projection screens, curtains, or lights based on presets or other defined logic. All setup and programming are performed via a PC running Ashly's Protea NE Software, which can be connected via Ethernet or RS-232. The unit's tamper-proof design, which lacks any front-panel controls, ensures that settings remain secure after installation. The device's extensive DSP capabilities include a full suite of functions for each channel, such as equalization, delay, gates, and auto-levelers.
