The Ashly Protea System II 4.24 GS is a high-performance audio signal processor that expands the capabilities of a master Protea 4.24G unit. The "slave" design means it does not have a front-panel interface for direct control; all configuration, monitoring, and operation are handled remotely via the master unit or Ashly's Protea System Software running on a computer. Each of its four channels offers a full suite of processing tools, including 31-band graphic EQ, up to 12 bands of parametric EQ, adjustable delays, and comprehensive dynamics processing (compressor/limiter) and Crossover settings (up to 24dB/octave). The 24-bit AD/DA converters ensure pristine audio quality. It is housed in a durable 1U rack-mountable chassis, making it a powerful component for large, sophisticated sound installations in venues like theaters, auditoriums, and broadcast facilities.
