It receives a combined AV, control, and power signal from an HDBaseT transmitter, outputs a local HDMI signal, and simultaneously downscales the video to a second HDMI output. This dual-output capability is particularly useful in applications like conference rooms, classrooms, and digital signage, where you may need to feed both a primary high-resolution display and a secondary lower-resolution monitor or recorder.

The unit excels in signal management, featuring a robust video scaler that can convert incoming video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz to match the optimal native resolution of the connected displays. This ensures compatibility and optimal image quality across different display technologies. The receiver supports embedded multi-channel audio, including high-bitrate formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and can extract and output audio as both HDMI-embedded and analog stereo via a 3.5mm jack. Integrated RS-232 and IR pass-through allow for centralized system control over the same single cable used for AV.
