Ayrton Dream Panel HD-Box Media System

$1,495.00

The Ayrton Dream Panel HD-Box is the central media system for controlling the DREAMPANEL series of moving head video and effects lights, such as the DREAMPANEL Shift and Twin. It is designed to manage complex video content and distribute it seamlessly across a matrix of multiple DREAMPANEL fixtures. The HD-Box receives standard video signals, including up to 1080p via HDMI or DVI-D, and processes the image for pixel-precise distribution to the connected lighting panels.

This centralized approach eliminates the need to individually configure each DREAMPANEL tile, simplifying setup and management for lighting designers and video programmers. The system can be managed using the Windows-compatible HDMI DREAMPANEL MANAGER software, which allows for configuring the overall screen layout and even handling remote software updates. For larger video walls, multiple HD-Boxes can be daisy-chained to control displays exceeding a single 1920 x 1080 pixel canvas. The system also includes a DMX-512 input, allowing for control of certain functions directly from an external lighting console.

About the Ayrton Dream Panel HD-Box Media System

The Ayrton Dream Panel HD-Box is a high-performance media server and pixel-mapping system designed to serve as the visual engine for large-scale, high-resolution LED video walls, transparent mesh screens, and complex projection-mapped installations. This dedicated hardware platform specializes in managing and manipulating ultra-high-definition video content, transforming it into precisely mapped output feeds that drive individual panels or sections of an expansive display canvas. It is engineered for the most demanding live events, broadcast studios, permanent architectural installations, and touring productions where visual impact, reliability, and creative flexibility are paramount. The system excels at handling multiple layers of live camera feeds, pre-rendered video content, and real-time graphics, allowing designers to create immersive, dynamic visual environments that are perfectly synchronized with lighting and audio.

At its core, the Dream Panel HD-Box functions as a powerful, real-time video processor. It ingests content from various sources—including high-bitrate video files, live SDI/HDMI inputs, and network streams—and applies sophisticated effects, color correction, warping, and blending before outputting the signal via multiple DVI or DisplayPort outputs. Its pixel mapping capabilities are a standout feature, enabling operators to define the exact physical layout and configuration of an LED wall (including irregular shapes, curves, or non-rectangular arrays) within the software. The server then automatically processes the content to fit this layout without distortion, ensuring each LED module or projector receives the correct portion of the image. This allows for creative freedom beyond standard rectangular screens, facilitating curved video tunnels, 3D structures, and abstract set pieces.

Designed for seamless integration into professional workflows, the HD-Box offers robust connectivity, including SDI, HDMI, and network inputs, alongside DVI and DisplayPort outputs that can be expanded with optional cards. Control is facilitated through an intuitive software interface on a connected computer, which provides a comprehensive suite of tools for content playback, timeline programming, and system configuration. The hardware is built into a rugged, touring-grade rack-mountable chassis with reliable cooling and power supplies, ensuring 24/7 operation in critical environments. The Ayrton Dream Panel HD-Box thus bridges the gap between creative vision and technical execution, providing the raw processing power and precise control needed to realize the most ambitious and complex visual designs in live entertainment and architectural media.
