The BAFX Products IR Repeater Remote Control Extender Kit is a highly practical solution designed to help you maintain a clean, clutter-free entertainment setup without sacrificing functionality. By bridging the gap between your remote and your concealed devices, it is the perfect addition to custom home theaters, living room media cabinets, and complex AV systems where exposed equipment and messy cables are unwanted.

The kit operates via a simple plug-and-play installation process that requires no complex programming. You simply place the discrete IR receiver in the line of sight of your remote, which then routes the signal through a central distribution block directly to the IR emitters attached to your hidden components. Right out of the box, the system includes four dual IR emitters capable of controlling up to 8 separate devices, though it can easily be expanded to manage up to 12 devices with the purchase of additional emitters. For added convenience, the system can be powered using the included standard wall outlet adapter or via an optional USB connection.
