About the Bilora 6135 Tripod (Needs Repair)

The Bilora 6135 is a classic, vintage photo and video tripod that showcases reliable West German engineering alongside a highly practical and robust design]. Originally crafted to support both traditional still cameras and legacy video equipment, it features a sturdy aluminum construction that ensures long-lasting durability in the field without being excessively heav. Its resilient build and versatile performance make it a favored choice among vintage camera collectors, analog photography enthusiasts, and budget-conscious creators looking for dependable stabilization.

A standout component of this tripod is its integrated fluid-effect pan-and-tilt head, which provides the smooth, gliding movements essential for panning during video recording or precisely framing still subjects. To ensure perfect horizontal alignment on uneven terrain, the tripod incorporates a built-in circular bubble level (Ring-Wasserwaage) directly into its base. Combined with secure leg locks and a geared center column for exact height adjustments, the Bilora 6135 delivers a reliable, no-nonsense shooting platform that remains fully functional and practical decades after its original production.
