BlackBox ACR1000-CPH16R-R2 Central Power Hub Power Distribution Unit

The Black Box ACR1000-CPH16R-R2 Agility KVM Central Power Hub is a professional rack-mounted power distribution unit designed to centralize DC power for compatible Black Box KVM extenders and switches. The 16-port version provides 16 individually controlled, locking 3-pin DC outputs in a compact 1U, 19-inch rackmount chassis, allowing multiple KVM devices to receive centralized power instead of requiring individual AC adapters throughout an installation. The hub supports 12VDC devices directly, while compatible converter cables can be used for 5VDC devices. Each output is designed as a Limited Power Source (LPS) and can provide up to 30W at 12VDC.

The ACR1000-CPH16R-R2 uses a modular power architecture with two IEC 90–264VAC, 47–63Hz power-supply inputs, although the standard unit is supplied with one power module. A second optional hot-swappable power supply can provide redundancy; if one power module fails, the hub can automatically transfer the full load to the remaining module. Black Box also provides a web-based management interface for monitoring and controlling the system, including output status, current measurements, temperature, and fan speeds. Each power output can be individually controlled, while the startup sequence activates outputs progressively to reduce simultaneous loading. The hub features a 10/100 Ethernet management interface, allowing remote configuration and monitoring through a web browser.
