About the Bose Professional RoomMatch RM7010 Array Speaker
The Bose RoomMatch RMS7010 is a large-format, multi-cellular array loudspeaker module designed as part of the RoomMatch Utility series for very high-output, long-throw applications in large venues. It is engineered to deliver precise, consistent coverage over extended distances, making it suitable for the main left and right arrays in performing arts centers, large houses of worship, stadiums, and major conference halls. The speaker utilizes Bose's patented PhaseGuide technology and a multi-cellular waveguide design to provide exceptional pattern control, minimizing unwanted reflections off walls and ceilings and ensuring uniform sound pressure levels throughout the audience area.
This model is a two-way, bi-amplifiable system housing high-power, low-frequency transducers and compression drivers coupled to its proprietary waveguide. Its design allows multiple RoomMatch modules to be combined into a single, continuous array, with their waveguides acoustically merging to form a coherent sound source with seamless vertical coverage. This modularity enables system designers to tailor the array's curvature and splay angles to precisely match the specific geometry of a venue, delivering optimized coverage from the front row to the furthest balcony. The cabinet is constructed from rugged, tour-grade plywood with a durable textured finish.
The RMS7010 is designed for use with dedicated Bose power amplifiers and DSP controllers, which provide optimized preset tuning, system protection, and network control. Integration into larger systems is facilitated through the Bose ControlSpace platform. With its high maximum SPL capability, exceptional pattern control, and flexible array design, the RoomMatch RMS7010 provides a scalable and sonically transparent solution for achieving intelligible, powerful, and evenly distributed sound in the most demanding large-scale fixed installations.
