Functioning as a thin client terminal, the TPC-650H is built around an Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor and 1GB of DDR2 memory. It is designed to run embedded operating systems like Microsoft Windows XP Embedded or Windows CE, providing a robust platform for the dedicated Christie control application. In normal use, this underlying operating system is invisible to the user, who interacts solely with the intuitive control interface to manage projector functions, monitor status, and perform maintenance tasks.

The panel features a 5.7-inch VGA TFT LED LCD display with a 5-wire analog resistive touchscreen, offering durability with a lifespan of 10 million single-point touches. The front panel is IP65 rated, making it resistant to dust and low-pressure water jets, ideal for industrial settings.
