About the Cisco TelePresence SX80 Codec TTC6-12 Video Conferencing System

The Cisco TelePresence SX80 Codec (TTC6-12) is a professional video collaboration codec designed for large meeting rooms, boardrooms, and customized video conferencing installations. Cisco specifies support for up to 1080p60 end-to-end HD video, H.265 video in SIP calls, three-screen configurations, and up to four simultaneous video inputs. The SX80 is designed as a flexible audio and video engine for integrated room systems.

The codec provides a broad selection of video and audio interfaces, including three HDMI video inputs, one DVI-I input, two HDMI outputs, and one DVI-I output. It supports up to eight microphones with 48 V phantom power, four balanced line-level inputs, six balanced line-level outputs, and two HDMI audio outputs.

For conferencing, the SX80 supports H.323 and SIP, embedded five-way MultiSite conferencing, dual-stream presentation through H.239/BFCP, and conference rates up to 10 Mbps. It also supports Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VCS, Cisco Webex, and standards-based third-party conferencing infrastructure.
