The ClearOne CONVERGE Pro VH20 is a professional-grade VoIP (Voice over IP) gateway interface specifically engineered to integrate seamlessly with ClearOne's CONVERGE Pro digital audio matrix mixers. It functions as a dedicated communication endpoint, allowing AV integrators to connect professional audio conferencing setups directly to SIP-based enterprise VoIP phone systems or IP networks without requiring a traditional analog telephone line or an external VoIP PBX. By offloading the VoIP processing to a dedicated module, it enables boardrooms, courtrooms, and distance-learning facilities to conduct secure, crystal-clear, and flexible voice communications over existing IT infrastructure.

The VH20 heavily prioritizes both call quality and network security. It utilizes wideband audio codecs, most notably G.722, to deliver high-definition voice clarity, ensuring that remote participants sound natural and highly intelligible during critical meetings. Furthermore, it incorporates robust encryption protocols—including TLS, AES, and SRTP—keeping sensitive corporate, medical, or legal conversations strictly confidential and protected from network interception. The unit easily mounts into a standard equipment rack and connects to primary CONVERGE Pro DSPs (such as the 880 or 840T) via ClearOne's proprietary expansion bus. It also provides a comprehensive suite of physical connections, including dual Ethernet ports, analog audio line-ins and line-outs, and a USB port for localized setup and PC integration.
