The Crestron C2N-HBLOCK is a multi-type Cresnet distribution block engineered to simplify and centralize the termination of multiple Cresnet cables in professional control system installations. This passive parallel distribution hub provides 16 total connection points across three distinct connector types, allowing integrators to combine various Cresnet wiring methods—including standard 4-wire cable, high-power cable, and RJ11 modular cables—into a single, organized junction point. The C2N-HBLOCK is designed for transparent communications between all connected Cresnet devices and the control system, with all ports internally wired together in parallel to ensure seamless signal and power distribution throughout the network.

The distribution block features eight 4-pin 3.5mm detachable terminal blocks (labeled 1 through 8) and five 4-pin 5mm detachable terminal blocks (labeled A through E) for direct connection to traditional four-wire Cresnet devices. For modular device connectivity, three 6-pin RJ11 female ports (labeled a, b, and c) accommodate specialized Cresnet peripherals. Only one port of any type should serve as the input source from the control system or power supply, with all remaining ports functioning as outputs to distribute power and data to downstream devices. Installers must exercise caution not to connect more than one power input to the block, as multiple power sources may damage power packs or supplies.

The C2N-HBLOCK is housed in a metal enclosure with a black finish and includes a detachable mounting plate for standalone surface mounting. For rack-mounted applications, up to three units may be grouped together using the optional CNXRMAK rack mount kit, which is sold separately. Three diagnostic LEDs on the front panel provide at-a-glance system status: a green POWER LED indicates when 24VDC Cresnet power is present and available at all ports, a red Y LED monitors the integrity of the Cresnet Y data signal, and a red Z LED confirms proper Z data signal reception. Multiple C2N-HBLOCK units may be cascaded for expanded connectivity beyond the standard 15-device capacity per block. The C2N-HBLOCK is manufactured in the U.S.A..
