The Crestron DM-RMC-200-C is an advanced DigitalMedia 8G+® receiver, video scaler, and localized room controller. It provides a comprehensive, one-box termination solution for a single flat-panel display or ceiling-mounted projector within a Crestron DigitalMedia ecosystem. Operating over a single CAT5e or Crestron DM 8G copper twisted-pair cable, the module accepts uncompressed HD video, multi-channel audio, Ethernet, and control signals from a centralized matrix switcher at distances up to 330 feet (100 meters). It is fully HDBaseT® certified, allowing the chassis to connect directly to any third-party HDBaseT compliant video source without requiring an upstream Crestron transmitter.

What elevates this model above baseline receivers is its robust onboard processing and audio hardware. It features a built-in high-definition video scaler that automatically optimizes any incoming source resolution—from legacy NTSC/PAL up to 1080p and WUXGA—to perfectly match the native resolution of the connected screen. It also includes video wall capabilities supporting up to \(4 \times 4\) multi-screen matrix arrays. For localized audio reproduction, the unit incorporates an integrated 30-watt (15W per channel) stereo power amplifier alongside an unbalanced line-level RCA output, allowing it to drive passive surface-mount speakers or external amplifiers directly. Expanded control infrastructure includes two low-voltage relays, a digital sensing input, standard RS-232, IR, and USB HID routing for local mouse and keyboard extension.
