Crestron DM-TX-4K-202-C Digital Media Transmiter

The Crestron DM-TX-4K-202-C is a highly versatile, professional-grade 4K transmitter and multimedia interface designed to seamlessly integrate high-definition computers and AV sources into a complete Crestron DigitalMedia system. Functioning simultaneously as a built-in 2x1 auto-switcher and a DigitalMedia 8G+ (DM 8G+) transmitter, the device accepts up to two independent 4K HDMI sources and transmits uncompressed video, audio, control, networking, and power signals over a single CAT-type twisted pair cable. By providing a low-profile, surface-mountable chassis, it is engineered for discreet installation beneath conference tables, inside lecterns, or mounted in equipment racks across boardrooms, classrooms, and university auditoriums.

Beyond its primary function as a transmitter, the DM-TX-4K-202-C acts as a comprehensive room control gateway. It features integrated Ethernet, RS-232, and IR ports to seamlessly control the connected display or source devices via a centralized Crestron control system. As an HDBaseT Certified device, its primary DM 8G+ output can be routed either to a central Crestron DM matrix switcher or directly into the input of any standard HDBaseT compliant projector or flat-panel display. Additionally, it incorporates USB HID signal extension capabilities, allowing presenters to connect a local keyboard and mouse to control a remote computer securely housed in an AV rack, or vice versa.
