The HD-RX-101-C-E is a surface-mountable DM Lite receiver designed to pair with a DM Lite transmitter to form a point-to-point signal extender for HDMI® signals. The DM Lite family of products offers a very simple and versatile solution for extending HD, UHD, 2K, and 4K video signals, with stereo or surround sound audio, over a single CAT5e (or better) cable. The Crestron HD-RX-101-C-E is a compact DM Lite HDMI over CATx receiver designed to extend high-definition and ultra-high-definition HDMI signals over a single CAT5e or higher twisted-pair cable. It is intended for use with a compatible Crestron DM Lite transmitter, creating a reliable point-to-point AV extension solution for conference rooms, classrooms, digital signage, hospitality environments, and residential installations. Its low-profile, surface-mountable design enables discreet installation behind displays, above projectors, or within equipment racks.

Supporting resolutions up to 4K UHD, the receiver delivers uncompressed digital video along with multichannel audio while maintaining signal integrity over long cable distances. It supports HDMI features including Deep Color, 3D video, HDCP 2.2, EDID management, and CEC pass-through, ensuring compatibility with modern displays and source devices. Depending on the video resolution, transmission distances reach up to 230 feet (70 meters) for HD content and 130 feet (40 meters) for 4K signals using CAT5e or better cabling.

Designed for straightforward deployment, the HD-RX-101-C-E requires no programming or configuration. A single external 24V power supply can power both the receiver and its paired transmitter through the DM Lite link, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.
