The Crestron HD-RX-201-C-E, when used with a DM Lite transmitter, offers a simple and cost-effective way to extend HDMI signals up to 230 ft (70 m) over a single CAT5e (or better) twisted pair cable. This receiver has an integrated HD video scaler that automatically adjusts the input signal for optimal display up to HD 1080p and WUXGA resolutions. It has a local HDMI input that complements the remote input from the transmitter and features flexible auto-switching. The device provides audio de-embedding via an analog stereo output and handles various surround sound formats. It also allows for display power control using CEC, IR, or RS-232 and can be incorporated into a larger Crestron control system for remote management via its Ethernet port.
