Engineered for point-to-point AV routing in classrooms, auditoriums, and corporate boardrooms, this compact endpoint connects directly to any HDBaseT compliant video source or matching Crestron transmitter. By utilizing a single category twisted-pair network cable, it extracts uncompressed ultra high-definition digital video and high-bitrate multi-channel audio signals—such as Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD®—without relying on signal-degrading compression.

Designed to sit discreetly directly behind a flat-panel display or above a ceiling-mounted projector, the unit also serves as a pass-through bridge for localized device control signals. When paired with an upstream transmitter, it actively extends bidirectional RS-232 serial commands and one-way infrared (IR) controls over the same single cable run to turn displays on and off or change inputs. The receiver features standard HDMI output connectivity, full HDCP compliance, and transparent EDID and CEC signal handling. This setup ensures a plug-and-play installation that accurately communicates display parameters back to the media source.
