The Crestron HD-TX3-C-B is a professional-grade 4K HDMI over HDBaseT transmitter designed to extend uncompressed ultra high-definition video, audio, and control signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a single CAT-type twisted pair cable. Designed to eliminate the need for complicated AV matrix programming, this standalone device serves as a simple point-to-point solution for routing high-bandwidth HDMI signals from a source device (like a laptop, Blu-ray player, or presentation PC) directly to an HDBaseT-certified display or a Crestron HDBaseT receiver (such as the HD-RX3-C). It is ideally suited for classrooms, auditoriums, and corporate boardrooms where long wire runs are required between the equipment rack and the display.

The HD-TX3-C natively supports Full HD 1080p, 2K, Ultra HD, and DCI 4K video resolutions with Deep Color, 3D, and HDCP compliance, ensuring lossless transmission without relying on signal-degrading compression or IP streaming. It also passes high-bitrate 7.1 surround sound formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, alongside uncompressed linear PCM. For control, when paired with a compatible Crestron receiver, the unit seamlessly extends bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals, creating a true "one-wire" solution that transmits AV and room control simultaneously. Its compact chassis allows it to be easily mounted in a standard single-gang electrical wall box, attached to a flat surface under a table, or secured to an equipment rack rail.
