Crown FXQ PIP2 Card

The Crown PIP2-FXQ is a factory-installed Programmable Input Processor module designed for Crown Macro-Tech and CTs series amplifiers, providing essential input connectivity and signal management capabilities. This module serves as the standard input interface for numerous Crown professional power amplifiers, featuring both balanced XLR and balanced 1/4-inch phone jack connectors for each channel to accommodate a wide range of audio sources. Its passive design means the XLR and phone jack inputs are wired in parallel, allowing unused connectors to function as daisy-chain outputs for distributing signals to multiple amplifiers in larger installations. The PIP2-FXQ incorporates an input ground lift switch that isolates the input signal grounds from the chassis ground, effectively preventing ground loops that can cause unwanted hum and noise in audio systems. The module's straightforward, reliable construction ensures consistent performance while maintaining signal integrity throughout the amplification chain.
