The Dakota Audio MA-AMP5 is the dedicated remote amplifier and control module designed specifically to power Dakota Audio's MA-Series focused audio mini-arrays, including the MA-4 and MA-5. By housing the electronics in a separate chassis rather than building them into the speaker itself, Dakota Audio ensures that the physical speaker arrays remain incredibly slim and unobtrusive. This makes the system ideal for digital signage, interactive kiosks, children's museums, and trade show exhibits where visual aesthetics and space are at a premium.

The amplifier module connects to the speaker array via an included multi-conductor cable, driving the highly directional, "donut-shaped" sound field that Dakota Audio is known for. This focused acoustic pattern provides excellent side-to-side sonic isolation—preventing sound bleed between adjacent displays—while maintaining a wide vertical dispersion to accommodate listeners of any height. The MA-AMP5 accepts standard line-level audio (both balanced and unbalanced) and includes its own dedicated plug-in power supply unit (PSU), allowing for rapid, straightforward deployment without the need for large external AV receiver racks.
