The Dot Line DL-3100 Ball Head with 5/8" Receiver for Light Stand is a compact camera-mounting accessory designed to convert a compatible light stand into a tripod-style camera support. It is intended for light to medium-weight cameras and combines a ball platform with a standard 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw.

The ball head provides 180° rotation and incorporates a 90° portrait-orientation notch, allowing the mounted camera to be quickly repositioned for vertical shooting. A separate ball-locking handle provides tension adjustment and secures the selected position.

The lower portion features a 5/8" (16 mm) female receiver with a locking knob, designed to accept the standard 5/8" male stud found on compatible light stands. The construction combines aluminum and stainless steel for a compact, durable mounting solution.
