On-Stage DM01 Drum Rim Mic Clip

No, the clamping surfaces are fitted with rubberized protective padding. This grips the rim firmly to prevent slipping while protecting your chrome or painted hoops from scratches.

By mounting microphones directly to the drum rims, you eliminate the need for floor mic stands around the drum kit. This saves valuable floor space, reduces stage clutter, and speeds up setup time.

Attachment takes only a few seconds using the integrated wing-nut screw mechanism. You can quickly reposition or move the clip between different drums without special tools.

Yes, it is constructed from heavy-duty solid steel hardware designed to withstand repeated stick hits and gigging abuse. The locking screws hold securely even under hard playing.

The cushioned clamp design helps dampen direct mechanical vibrations from the drum rim. However, using a dedicated shock mount on the 5/8" thread provides additional isolation for low-frequency rumble.

It clamps onto standard metal counterhoops on snare drums, tom-toms, and percussion instruments. The adjustable rim clamp fits securely on most flanged or die-cast drum rims.

It features a standard 5/8"-27 threaded insert that accepts almost all standard microphone clips and shock mounts. This lets you use dynamic snare/tom mics like the Shure SM57 or Sennheiser e604.

Yes, it includes a vertical height adjustment rod and a knurled locking knob. You can easily adjust the microphone's distance and angle relative to the drumhead to dial in your optimal sound.
