About the Agilent E4407B ESA-E Spectrum Analyzer, 9kHz to 26.5 Ghz

The E4407B ESA-E Spectrum Analyzer is a professional RF and microwave spectrum analyzer from the Agilent/Keysight ESA-E Series, covering an internal frequency range of 9 kHz to 26.5 GHz. It is designed for laboratory, manufacturing, field-service, aerospace, defense, and general RF measurement applications. The E4407B is now an obsolete/discontinued model in Keysight's product portfolio.

The analyzer provides 10 MHz analysis bandwidth, 0.4 dB overall amplitude accuracy, and, with the appropriate internal preamplifier configuration, a displayed average noise level (DANL) as low as −167 dBm. It also supports segmented sweeps with up to 32 discontinuous spans in one sweep.

The E4407B uses internal harmonic mixing across several frequency bands to reach 26.5 GHz. With Option AYZ external mixing, its measurement architecture can support external-mixer applications above the internal frequency range; this option should not be confused with the standard internal 9 kHz–26.5 GHz configuration.
