The Extron DA4 HD 4K is a professional-grade, 1-input to 4-output HDMI distribution amplifier engineered to reliably split a single HDMI video source to four separate displays simultaneously. Designed for commercial AV integration, digital signage, and high-end home theaters, it supports high-resolution computer and video signals up to 4K (4096x2160 and 3840x2160) at 30Hz with 4:4:4 color, or at 60Hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling. It accommodates a maximum data rate of 10.2 Gbps, ensuring that high-quality, uncompressed video and lossless audio formats (such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio) pass through to the destination screens without degradation.

To ensure absolute reliability in a live routing environment, the DA4 HD 4K is packed with Extron’s proprietary integration technologies. It features EDID Minder, which automatically manages the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) communication between the connected displays and the source device, ensuring the source always boots up and outputs the correct resolution. Furthermore, it utilizes Key Minder to continuously authenticate HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) encryption, preventing the dreaded "black screen" or handshaking dropouts that frequently plague consumer-grade splitters. All of this is housed in a compact, 1U quarter-rack width metal enclosure that can be easily mounted in an AV rack, under a table, or directly behind a display.
