The Extron DA6 HD 4K PLUS is a high-performance, 1-input to 6-output HDMI distribution amplifier engineered to split a single HDMI video source to six separate displays simultaneously. As part of Extron's "PLUS" series, it receives a significant bandwidth upgrade over standard 4K models, supporting HDMI 2.0b specifications with data rates up to 18 Gbps. This allows it to effortlessly handle uncompressed 4K and UHD video at a full 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. It is fully compatible with High Dynamic Range (HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision) formats and lossless audio codecs like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, making it an ideal choice for high-end digital signage, broadcast monitoring, and premium commercial AV integrations.

To ensure rock-solid reliability in complex routing environments, the DA6 HD 4K PLUS is equipped with a suite of Extron's proprietary integration technologies. It features EDID Minder to automatically manage EDID communication between the displays and the source, ensuring proper resolution output, alongside HDCP 2.3 compliance for seamless playback of encrypted content. Additionally, the unit features automatic color bit depth management, automatic input cable equalization to compensate for signal loss over long cable runs, and independent output muting via RS-232, allowing operators to preview content locally while muting the main displays. It is housed in a rugged, 1U half-rack width metal enclosure with an internal universal power supply, designed for neat installation in standard AV racks.
