The Extron MPS 112 is a highly versatile, multi-format analog media presentation switcher that effectively combines four independent switchers into a single, compact 1U enclosure. Designed primarily for legacy boardrooms, classrooms, and presentation environments, it routes standard-definition and high-resolution analog AV signals without requiring multiple standalone devices. Internally, it features a 4x1 VGA (RGBHV) switcher, a 4x1 S-video switcher, a 4x1 composite video switcher, and a comprehensive 12x1 stereo audio switcher, allowing integrators to seamlessly manage a wide variety of older media players, document cameras, and computer sources.

A standout capability of the MPS 112 is its highly flexible routing architecture. Operators can run it in "Single Switcher" mode, which treats the unit as one large 12-input switcher that automatically routes the selected video source and its tied audio to the main presentation display. Alternatively, "Separate Switcher" mode allows the VGA, S-video, and composite blocks to operate entirely independently of each other. Delivering an impressive 350 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth, the switcher ensures that high-resolution computer signals pass through with pristine clarity.
