The Extron PS 128 is a professional-grade, highly reliable 12 VDC, 8 Amp multiple output power supply designed to streamline the power infrastructure within an AV equipment rack. Rather than dealing with a tangled mess of individual "wall wart" power adapters plugged into bulky power strips, integrators can use this single unit to provide consolidated, reliable DC power to up to 12 separate Extron devices. It is engineered to deliver a total of 96 watts of power across its twelve 2-pin captive screw output ports, significantly freeing up valuable AC outlet space and creating a much cleaner, safer, and easily serviceable equipment rack.

Designed specifically for 24/7 mission-critical commercial environments, the PS 128 features an incredibly long Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) rating in excess of 182,000 hours (roughly 20.8 years). The internal architecture has no per-port current limitations, meaning any individual connected device can draw exactly what it needs, as long as the total combined draw across all devices does not exceed the 8.0 Amp (96 Watt) limit. The half-rack width, 1U high metal enclosure is completely convection-cooled (no fans), ensuring silent operation while front and rear panel LEDs provide quick visual status indicators for normal power operation or overload conditions.
