The FSR DV-HMSW4K-88 (part of the DV Pro Series) is a professional-grade 8x8 HDMI matrix switcher designed to seamlessly route eight high-definition video sources to any combination of eight HDMI displays. Built for commercial AV installations, boardrooms, and digital signage networks, this 1U rack-mountable matrix allows independent routing, meaning any single source can be sent to one display, multiple displays, or all eight displays simultaneously without signal loss or degradation. It handles uncompressed digital video up to 4K (3840x2160) at 30Hz or 1080p Full HD at 60Hz with 48-bit Deep Color, ensuring incredibly sharp and vibrant image quality.

Beyond standard video switching, the DV-HMSW4K-88 is fully equipped to handle modern multi-channel digital audio, passing lossless codecs like Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and LPCM directly through the HDMI outputs to corresponding AV receivers or display speakers. It provides integrators with extensive EDID management tools to guarantee that all connected source devices boot up and output the correct resolution for the displays. The unit is highly controllable and can be managed locally via the front panel push buttons, or fully integrated into a room automation system using RS-232 serial control, TCP/IP (LAN), or the included IR remote and transmitter/receiver kit.
