The Giottos MH 1004 (often listed as the MH 1004-320) is an ultra-compact, lightweight mini ball head designed to provide reliable articulation for small cameras, speedlights, and various photography accessories. As the smallest offering in the Giottos ball head lineup, it is an excellent addition to tabletop tripods, monopods, light stands, or custom rigging setups (such as attaching a field monitor to a camera cage). Despite weighing less than two ounces and measuring just over two inches tall, it is machined from durable aluminum and supports an impressive payload of up to 5.1 pounds (2.3 kg), easily handling compact mirrorless cameras, point-and-shoots, or lightweight DSLRs.

The MH 1004 utilizes a streamlined, single-knob design that simultaneously locks and unlocks both the ball joint and the 360-degree panning base, allowing for quick, fluid adjustments on the fly. The top platform features a fixed, standard 1/4"-20 screw to securely mount your camera or accessory. The flat base features a 3/8"-16 female thread, and typically includes a 1/4"-20 reducer bushing, allowing the head to quickly adapt to virtually any standard tripod, light stand, or mounting bracket in your kit.
