Hall Research SC-12BT 12-Input Multi-Format Scaler Switch w/ HDBaseT Output

The Hall Research SC-12BT is a highly versatile, 12-input multi-format video scaler and switcher designed for boardrooms, classrooms, and complex AV integration environments. It acts as a comprehensive central hub for mixing both legacy analog and modern digital signals, offering four HDMI inputs, four VGA inputs, and four analog video inputs (including YPbPr component, S-Video, and composite). Once a source is selected via the intuitive front panel, IR remote, RS-232, or TCP/IP control, the unit scales the video to a fixed, user-definable output resolution to prevent display sync drops.

To ensure maximum distribution flexibility, the SC-12BT simultaneously routes the scaled video through three active outputs: VGA, HDMI, and HDBaseT. The integrated Class B HDBaseT output allows the high-definition signal to be transmitted up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a single shielded CAT6 network cable to compatible receivers or HDBaseT-equipped projectors. Beyond its video capabilities, it also features robust audio management. It extracts HDMI audio and provides multiple dedicated analog audio inputs, routing the combined audio to embedded HDMI/HDBaseT outputs, RCA line-level outputs, and an internal 20-watt amplifier designed to directly drive 4-ohm or 8-ohm room speakers.
