IDX AC-100 100W V-Mount AC Adaptor Power Supply

The IDX AC-100 is a dedicated 100W AC-to-DC power supply ingeniously built into a standard V-Mount chassis. Rather than forcing a camera operator to tether a heavy, external power brick to a camera via a fragile XLR cable, the AC-100 clicks directly onto the rear V-Mount plate of a professional broadcast camera or cinema lighting fixture. It accepts standard wall outlet power (100-240V AC) and seamlessly converts it into a regulated 14.5V DC output, providing continuous, uninterrupted power for studio setups, long-form interviews, or permanent installations.

Because live broadcasting cannot afford a camera dying if a grip trips over an extension cord, the AC-100 features a highly utilized "Power Base" function. The unit includes its own V-Mount receiving plate on the back, allowing an operator to click an IDX Endura battery directly onto the power supply. If the AC mains power is accidentally severed, the AC-100 acts as an instant uninterruptible power supply (UPS), automatically drawing power from the attached battery without dropping the camera feed.
