The IDX System Technology VL-2PLUS is a highly durable, lightweight, two-channel sequential battery charger and built-in AC power supply designed for professional V-Mount broadcast and cinema batteries. Built by the company that pioneered the modern V-Mount (Endura) system, it serves as an indispensable tool for traveling camera crews who need to rapidly cycle through power packs while minimizing the heavy gear they haul onto a location.

Because space and weight are at an absolute premium in mobile production, the VL-2PLUS doubles as a standalone 60-watt AC-to-DC power supply. Rather than packing a separate, heavy camera power brick for locked-off studio interviews, an operator can simply plug an XLR cable into the charger's front panel to run a camera or lighting fixture directly from a wall outlet.
