The Intelix DIGI-HD-COAX-S is a professional-grade transmitter unit designed to accept high-definition HDMI video and audio signals and transmit them over a single, standard RG6 or RG59 coaxial cable. It serves as the sending hub of an extension system, generating the digital signal that is ultimately picked up by the DIGI-HD-COAX-R receiver.

Because older commercial buildings, sports bars, and residential homes are frequently pre-wired with extensive networks of standard coaxial cable (originally used for analog cable TV or CCTV), upgrading a facility to digital HDMI often means ripping open walls to pull entirely new Cat6 network cable or running expensive active HDMI cables. The DIGI-HD-COAX-S solves this by formatting and pushing full 1080p HDMI signals down that legacy coax infrastructure. This bypasses the need for destructive renovations and drastically cuts down on labor costs and installation time.
