About the JBL AC2212/95 Compact 2-Way Loudspeaker with 1 x 12" LF Driver (90° x 50° Coverage)

The JBL AC2212/95 is a compact, high-performance two-way loudspeaker designed for versatile sound reinforcement applications where space is limited but output and clarity are paramount. This speaker features a single 12-inch low-frequency driver paired with a high-frequency compression driver mounted on a 90° x 50° constant-directivity horn. This combination delivers high output, extended frequency response, and controlled vertical coverage, making it suitable for use as a compact main PA speaker, stage monitor, or dedicated vocal reinforcement speaker in venues such as clubs, houses of worship, theaters, and portable PA systems. The 90° x 50° horn pattern provides wide horizontal coverage for the audience while controlling vertical dispersion to minimize ceiling and floor reflections.

Housed in a rugged, multi-ply birch enclosure with a durable textured finish, the AC2212/95 is built to withstand the rigors of touring and installed use. It includes multiple rigging points and an integrated pole mount socket for flexible deployment. The input panel features dual Neutrik NL4 connectors for easy daisy-chaining. The speaker's components are engineered for high power handling and low distortion, capable of delivering clear, articulate sound at high sound pressure levels. Its compact size relative to its output makes it an excellent choice for applications where larger 15-inch two-way boxes are not practical but full-range performance is still required.

For system designers and rental companies needing a powerful, compact, and flexible loudspeaker, the JBL AC2212/95 offers an outstanding balance of size, output, and controlled dispersion. It provides professional-grade sound reinforcement in a package that is easier to transport and position than larger cabinets, without sacrificing sonic impact or clarity.
