Description

The JBL Control 424C/T is a high-fidelity, two-way coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker specifically engineered to deliver uniform acoustic dispersion and pristine clarity across commercial installations. Part of JBL's Enhanced Coverage Series, this premium 4-inch speaker is equipped with JBL's exclusive CRBI™ (Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator) technology, an innovative acoustic design that ensures exceptionally smooth and consistent 130-degree conical coverage. By acoustically loading the 4-inch woofer and coaxially mounted 0.75-inch soft-dome tweeter via a specialized boundary integrator plate, CRBI minimizes on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots as listeners move throughout a venue. This widespread coverage often translates directly to project cost savings by allowing audio designers to use fewer total fixtures per room without sacrificing the sonic character or volume consistency of background music and paging systems.
