The JBL Control 426C/T is a premium, high-output two-way coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker engineered to deliver exceptional full-range audio performance and ultra-uniform acoustic dispersion in challenging commercial spaces. As part of JBL's Enhanced Coverage Series, it features JBL's exclusive CRBI™ (Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator) technology, which seamlessly blends the sound from its 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer and coaxially mounted 0.75-inch fluid-cooled soft-dome tweeter. This innovative design provides an incredibly consistent 120-degree conical coverage pattern, effectively eliminating off-axis volume drops and sonic "dead zones" while reducing the total number of speaker fixtures needed to cover a room. Built for rapid integration, its heavy-duty steel backcan is UL 2043/NFPA 90A plenum-rated and features an upgraded dual-entry terminal cover with tool-less captive hand-screws for fast conduit routing. The speaker houses a low-saturation 60-watt multi-tap transformer for high-voltage distributed 70V/100V networks, along with a high-impedance 16-ohm direct bypass mode that allows up to four speakers to be safely wired in parallel on a standard low-impedance amplifier channel.
