Description
The JBL Control 447LP is a premium, low-profile two-way coaxial in-ceiling commercial loudspeaker from the Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, precision-engineered for venues with restricted overhead plenum space. It features a high-output 6.5-inch (165 mm) treated paper woofer paired with a coaxially mounted 1-inch soft-dome tweeter. These components are optimized by JBL’s exclusive conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology. This advanced waveguide structure blends the two drivers seamlessly, projecting an incredibly uniform 120-degree conical coverage pattern that eliminates off-axis volume drops and sonic "dead zones" across the room. Measuring just 5.6 inches (142 mm) deep from the bottom of the ceiling tile, its ultra-shallow steel backcan fits effortlessly into tight structural areas. It also meets UL 2043 and NFPA 90A standards for installation within environmental air-handling plenums
